Statistics: Russian gold output rises 8.1% on year in January

MOSCOW, Feb 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s production of unrefined, semi-refined, or powdered gold rose 8.1% on the year but fell 27.1% on the month in January, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Monday.

In 2019, gold production grew 17% on the year.

No absolute figures were disclosed.
